Anza has recently moved back to her hometown, Cape Town after a stint managing a lodge deep in the Okavango Delta, Botswana with her husband and young son.

She describes it as a magical experience, it's "obviously beautiful” and she misses the sound of the hippos honking in the evening and waking up to the birds in the morning. The best part was working with the local staff and getting to know each of her guests, "and my husband loved the fishing!”

But this was not Anza's first experience of the travel industry. She has been working in African travel since 1998; for inbound tour operators and later running her own business specialising in creating unforgettable African honeymoons for her clients.

When I ask her where she spent her own honeymoon, she laughs and admits it was quite close to Cape Town, on the beautiful Whale Coast.

Anza brings her extensive personal travel experience, her in depth knowledge of the various lodges around Africa and of course her great love for Africa's wild places to every new holiday she plans.
