Born and bred in Port Elizabeth, Cathy ascribes her passion for the outdoors to a childhood holidays spent hiking all over South Africa. Happiest when trudging uphill with a 20kg pack, she has applied the same determination to the workplace- she thrives in a challenging, changing environment in an industry she loves.

Work and travel have taken her to Europe and Asia but Cathy's heart always brings her back to the warm open spaces of Africa. A self-confessed animal lover, she sees herself as a porcupine: small and cute at first glance but not to be messed with...

Her advice on life? Be someone who can be depended on.

South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and Mozambique. She has also visited Europe, Hong Kong, Qatar (Doha), Thailand and New Zealand.
