Mia is a workaholic with a beautiful smile - a deadly combination. She has been at Go2Africa since its humble beginnings, and is regarded by many in the industry as travel royalty.

The daughter of diplomats, Mia began her life of jet-setting adventure at the age of twelve. She spent two-year stints in Tokyo, then Warsaw. At the age of seventeen, she kissed mom and dad goodbye and set off on her own to brave New York. Mia struggled in Manhattan for a year, making ends meet as a waitress and ice-cream sales girl.

Trading the ice creams in for stewardess wings Mia embraced the high life (she has lived in Holland, Dubai and Australia) and spent two years travelling absolutely everywhere as an air stewardess. Next stop was Australia, where she embraced the beginnings of a career as a travel consultant.

Mia finally returned to South Africa, years later, for some much-needed down-to-earth living. She settled in Cape Town, and co-ordinated African golfing holidays for large groups of high profile clients.

On her chances in a game of Survivor, she has this to say: "Popular for the first week, voted off the second, when contestants realise how independent and direct I am.”
