Monique Roden is among the most driven and inspirational people you'll ever have the pleasure of communicating with.
Born in Johannesburg and raised in Durban, Monique had previously travelled to the USA, the UK, France, Botswana, and the Kruger National Park, but by her own admission fell into the travel industry as if by chance. Now she's been working in travel for seven years, and her great experience is coupled with a burning desire to excel.
What you see is what you get with Monique, and in case you don't get to see her face to face, let me tell you that it's a great deal. Monique loves people, and she's so passionate about making sure her clients have unsurpassable travel experiences that they have sought her out again.

Travel Experience
I have travelled through various parts of South Africa, the Kruger Park being a major highlight. I have also explored Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Kenya, as well as Western Europe and the USA extensively.
What I love about Africa
First and foremost, the incredible people. The magical beaches and spectacular wildlife are a bonus!

Of course my only regret is that we didn't listen to your suggestion of staying at least a couple more days. However even then it may not have been enough. We never worried about anything. I found Monique Roden on the Go2Africa website and, although I am very suspect of almost everything on the internet, I decided to test her ability to book my husband and me for our "ideal" Africa trip. I had, at that time, been in correspondence with other travel agents, none of which could get us into the specific lodges at which we hoped to stay. Well, Monique came through with flying colors and not only got us into the best lodges in South Africa (Singita Boulders and Lebombo to be specific), and the Cape Grace Hotel, but booked us for the exact dates I had specified. Monique was meticulous about responding to my e-mails, was warm, friendly and accommodating about any last minute changes that had to be made, and anticipated our every need. In other words, she was professional to the core, while making us feel as though we were her most important clients. She knew it was our anniversary and arranged for Singita Boulders to prepare a lavish and romantic evening for us, which was the highlight of our trip.
