Shihaam

Shihaam is a Cape Town girl, born and bred. In fact she went to school just round the corner from Go2Africa's offices in the city bowl. After school Shihaam decided to study Tourism Management because she wanted to do something that involved interacting with people, and also because she loves to experience new things and to travel.

Shihaam and her husband travel quite a bit around South Africa; they go to the Garden Route every year and get away often, even if it's just for a weekend of camping with the family. Never afraid to be sociable and get involved they went with an enormous group of friends (no less than 14 other families!) for a safari in Kruger Park recently. "It was chaotic!” she says with a big grin.

When asked for her insider tips for what to do in Cape Town she gets enthusiastic about the variety of things to do in Cape Town. "I live here” she says, " and I still do everything a tourist does - Hout Bay, Signal Hill, just the other day we went to Hermanus to see the whales...”
