When away, other holidaymakers remarked to us that by booking though Go2Africa we would be paying quite a hefty premium compared to booking direct. On return, we checked the &beyond and Isibindi websites and priced the exact holiday. To our surprise we found the price we had paid to Go2Africa was slightly LESS and, furthermore, the Go2Africa price included 4 road transfers (Richards Bay - Phinda - Thonga - Richards Bay). At 2-3 hours each transfer that would have been a significant sum, making the Go2Africa package much the better deal. - Ken & Priscilla Winslow

The personal service you've provided for us at Go2Africa has been excellent. A great itinerary and recommendations for accommodation. We're grateful for all the efforts made on our behalf to rebook and rearrange accommodation and flights when the ash cloud descended, without your continued help and assistance we would have lost our holiday. There was not one thing missed or that went wrong and had to be addressed. It was just perfect! Please pat yourself on the back and pass it on to your supervisor! Better yet, have her/him call me! Another thing, I didn't want to spend the money on a flight back from the Serengti, I thought we had time for the drive and would enjoy it but you insisted. Boy were you right!!!!!! While we did enjoy the drive out there, which was in shorter increments, by the time we had to come back, that long drive would have been repetitive and unpleasant. Handling our complex group is not an easy task, with many nationalities, ages, dietary requirements, changes, coordination of arrivals, departures and unusual transfers, all of which are problems that are involved when travelling in a private aircraft and ones that Mia performs with the "no problem” attitude (which we know is not true, but it definitely makes us feel better). Almost two years ago I submitted an inquiry through Go2Africa.com and we were paired with Robyn De Jager. Robyn helped us plan our honeymoon from start to finish and I can tell you that my husband is no easy customer. I found Monique Roden on the Go2Africa website and, although I am very suspect of almost everything on the internet, I decided to test her ability to book my husband and me for our "ideal" Africa trip. I had, at that time, been in correspondence with other travel agents, none of which could get us into the specific lodges at which we hoped to stay. Well, Monique came through with flying colors and not only got us into the best lodges in South Africa (Singita Boulders and Lebombo to be specific), and the Cape Grace Hotel, but booked us for the exact dates I had specified. Monique was meticulous about responding to my e-mails, was warm, friendly and accommodating about any last minute changes that had to be made, and anticipated our every need. In other words, she was professional to the core, while making us feel as though we were her most important clients.

She knew it was our anniversary and arranged for Singita Boulders to prepare a lavish and romantic evening for us, which was the highlight of our trip. I heartily recommend her to anyone wishing a magical travel experience to Africa. - Barbara

Christine, it has been a pleasure dealing with you. You really showed me what service is all about when Nationwide stopped its flights and we needed to find alternative transport to Cape Town on short notice. I had you on the phone most of the day discussing alternatives. You were patient and persistent and in the end it all worked out. I do not know what I would have done in that situation without your assistance. I cannot thank you enough. We have had a fantastic holiday in SA. Our accommodation in Cape Town was awesome. In short our trip was breathtaking. Bruce was constantly impressed with the complex logistics and how smoothly they evolved. As you know Vanessa, I was somewhat reluctant to book this adventure on-line but your understanding of our goals, knowledge of the products you had to offer and excellent, articulate communication made the entire trip logistics easy and the outcome was excellent. Thanks for your concern, Candice. Other than the robbery at Ulusaba, the trip was fabulous and I really appreciated Tamara and Handri convincing me to keep our tour guide for our time in Capetown. Dealing with the American consulate for our temporary passports was very easy and so we didn't really lose any time on that first day and our guide, Collin was just exceptional. Our two and half days in Capetown were wonderful - it's such a beautiful, vibrant city and we loved the drives through the wine country, to the Cape of Good Hope, all through the beach towns, etc..... And the food? We had great, great meals at fun restaurants and saw so much of the city by choosing some places outside the tourist area.

I want to thank your company, again, for your concern, your offer of support and help during our difficult time of being in a foreign country without a penny or an I.D. We had the most wonderful time in South Africa! Yes, you were right about the driving was long and tiring but we enjoyed it. Maybe it is not advisable for some others and I do see your point about the distance, but it worked for us. Taking Nissan X-trail also helped as it will be too tiring with a smaller car. And GPS is very-very helpful. I thank you for your initial info on the recommended garden route (although I did not take your offer, sorry. On hindsight I should have taken the X-trail with you, I thought I had a better deal on the other party but a lot hidden cost. Serve me right *smile*). Cape Town is really wonderful as you mentioned. I have passed your name to a friend who is thinking to take his family for safari trip. Maybe there is another friend too. The best thing about go2africa is your secured payment which is very convenient. Do you handle safari trips in other southern Afican countries like Zambia, Botswana or Tanzania too? - Shamsul

We had a wonderful stay in South Africa and are still in an "Africa" memories period. All that was planned from your side worked out perfect. We especially appreciated the stay in Sabi Sand but found Thornybush as a dream. The service was excellent at the lodges and with nice, warm and sunny weather it was perfect. All game drives included always a new surprise, and I believe that we were very lucky to see all big five, black mamba.4 Leopards!!! And with sunset light!! Yes, It was almost a dreamlike scenery. The stay in Cape Town and Hermanus was also very exiting and relaxing. Good food, nice weather and whales!!!!! And the drive to Cape the good hope was a view that we always will remember. Wineland with good food and wines!!! Again, we are very happy for your help to plan and arrange our trip. And we believe that we got a lot out of the money we spent. - Helene
