Once booked and confirmed we'll send you just one invoice for all your travel services. You will not be levied any merchant fees or foreign exchange conversion fees.

2. Go2Africa offers complete financial protection to our travellers with our default insurance policy.

Our advice to travellers is: do not hand over money to a travel company or service provider that is unable to provide you with comprehensive financial protection and don't be fooled by empty or shallow promises linked to association membership or years of trading. Insist upon comprehensive, insured protection.

3. Go2Africa is a highly reputable and reliable company with hand-picked African Safari Travel Experts with excellent experience and credentials. Go2Africa has been recommended as the preferred Africa Travel Company by many of Africa's top travel brands such as, CCA, Wilderness Safaris, Orient-Express, Mala Mala and Singita Game Reserves.

4. We're fully accredited with international and regional travel organisations whose job it is to ensure we deliver to predefined minimum industry standards . We hold accreditation with SATSA (Southern Africa Tourism Services Association), ATTA (African Travel and Tourism Association) and ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents).

While SATSA is a quality association dedicated to providing and maintaining the highest possible standards of service within the South African tourism industry, it does not provide adequate or comprehensive financial protection.

Company statements such as, "Bonding has long been a problem for African-based Tour Operators trying to attract international visitors, particularly those from Europe, which are protected by bonding agencies abroad. I am proud to announce that through our SATSA affiliation, we are now a bonded agency, completing the circle of a one stop travel shop to Africa” are misleading.

Although the bonding statement is true, what isn't stated is that this bonding is completely inadequate. Each bonded company pays a mere R400 a year for cover. This provides a maximum of R1 500 000.00 cover to be shared by all travel companies and travellers within the industry(eg. natural disaster); a maximum of only R300 000.00 cover per unfortunate event(eg. airline financial failure); and a maximum of R75 000.00 cover for each individual traveller no matter what the claim. This is far from adequate cover for your holiday, unlike our comprehensive financial protection.

10. We provide a secure and easy online multi-currency payment system that protects your details and information. There is no need to worry about exposure to credit card fraud or identity theft by faxing personal details, copies of credit cards or banking details. There is also no hassle with bank wires or electronic transfers. And by paying in multiple currencies there are no hidden conversion fees, except those charged by your own bank.

11. Our easy payment plan requires only a 30% deposit upon booking and the remaining 70% to be paid 60 days (2 months) prior to travel. A few exceptions to this may occur, for example to confirm flights or peak season travel, but these are limited and advised at the time of booking.

12. We conduct regular surveys among our travellers to ensure that we only work with the best, and that our suggestions are aligned to your personal expectations. We're open to your suggestions towards improvement and welcome constructive criticism (big or small).

13. Sometimes the unexpected happens and things may go wrong before or on vacation - like unforeseen illness or your luggage being lost by the airline. But rest assured, we're on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for emergency assistance. We will facilitate assistance wherever required, even for those parts of your vacation that you didn't book through us.
