Wander along the interlaced footpaths that meander through the hotel's tropical gardens and past lakes and waterfalls to find a sun lounger on the expansive pool deck.

You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool or jacuzzi - younger children will love the kiddies swimming pool.

Dining

The Santorini Restaurant is an elegant yet casual poolside restaurant serving delicious Greek and Mediterranean-style food, accompanied by an excellent wine list, for lunch and dinner. Choose to sit indoors or dine al fresco around the swimming pool.

The Peninsula Restaurant has an international dinner menu offering you the chance to dine by candlelight in splendid style to the background music of a resident pianist. The full and continental breakfast buffets here are legendary.

The Peninsula Bar - open on Friday and Saturday evenings - is the perfect place for drinks before dinner while the Vistas Bar offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains from the terrace.

Luxury Twin Room

The 243 rooms at The Cascades Hotel have views across tropical gardens to the golf course and mountains beyond and feature satellite TV, radio, air conditioning, telephone and a mini bar. Each en suite bathroom has a dressing room, separate shower and bath and double vanities.

  • Sun City Cascades - another amazing place and complex - our children just loved the water slides and wave pool and we didn't mind them too much either! Heather and I had a game of golf on the Gary Player course together which was very nice and relaxing. We think the Cascades was definitely the best option for our family and a perfect end to our holiday. Again, for a family of four I would probably suggest going for another or bigger room to the one we had.

  • Our vacation in the Cascades hotel Sun city was amazing, no words to describe. As we entered the room a plate of fruits & a bottle of champagne were waiting for us. We had a beautiful room and we found the hotel to be very good and the service and staff very friendly. The area was very well maintained and the only down side is that we had only one night stay, we wish to come back for more.
