The Gregoire Boutique Hotel & Spa has an enviable location at the heart of the famous whale-watching town of Hermanus. You have easy access to the quaint seaside town’s attractions and the famous cliff-top path from which you can often see southern right whales during the spring months, from about August. The Gregoire also makes the perfect base from which to explore the region, taking in superb wine tasting along the Hermanus Wine Route, and outdoor pursuits ranging from golf to mountain biking and hiking.
There are only seven rooms at The Gregoire, assuring a personalised and intimate stay in very comfortable surroundings. The rooms are elegantly furnished and feature everything you could want, from an en suite bathroom to a Nespresso coffee machine. The rooms can be split into two separate villas – one of three and one of four suites each that are ideal for families and groups of friends (the hotel does not accept children under 12 unless a villa is booked).
Set in lovely gardens and with a wellness spa on the property, the Gregoire Boutique Hotel lies an hour and a half’s drive away from Cape Town, making it an easy self-drive combination with the Mother City and nearby Cape Winelands. The whale-watching season from about August to November sees Hermanus at its busiest but such is the wealth of natural beauty and activities in the area that the Whale Coast is a year-round destination.
The Gregoire Boutique Hotel & Spa is generously equipped with lounges and relaxation areas both inside and out. There is a lap pool and sundeck as well as lovely gardens to admire. Self-driving guests have free secure parking for rental cars and the Gregoire offers complimentary Wi-Fi internet throughout the property.
The spa offers a wide range of rejuvenation, beauty and fitness treatments, and also has a steam room and a sauna.
