overview

Situated in Cape Town’s picturesque working harbour and with direct access to the V&A Waterfront, The Table Bay Hotel is an extremely convenient and stylish base from which to explore Cape Town. The hotel has a nautical feel and exudes the quiet elegance and charm associated with the great cruise liners and grand hotels around the world. The views are wonderful and you can watch ships come and go from the front of the hotel - towering Table Mountain provides the background.

The Waterfront location puts all the restaurants, shops and entertainment venues of Cape Town's favourite destination at your disposal and the city centre is a short chauffeured drive away, as indeed are the magnificent city beaches but there's plenty to detain you at The Table Bay Hotel. Spend a lazy hour or two next to the heated saltwater pool or work up a sweat in the hotel's boutique gym - you can also release your stresses in the hotel's health spa or indulge in some retail therapy.

  • Excellent hotel, excellent service and very friendly staff. We were not charged for breakfast for Poppy but she was made to feel like the Queen each morning! We are very impressed with the quality of the hotels you chose and they were all excellent with our 2 year old.

  • Having stayed at some hotels in Australia since my return, the service and standard of the Table Bay has seemed to be even better! The view from my room was quite beautiful, the room was excellent, service very helpful - a lot better then Australia - and the breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel in the world! The hotel provided internet and email access free of charge - which is also unusual for Australian Hotels.
