Enjoy a wonderful South African safari experience at Phinda Forest Lodge in the wildlife-diverse Phinda Resource Reserve. Located in subtropical northern KwaZulu Natal, the Phinda Reserve offers an easy-to-access and beautiful environment rich in big game and birdlife.

The lodge has stunning views over the wetland pan and offers numerous game viewing activities such as guided game drives and nature walks as well as exciting rhino tracking excursions. Other activities include exploring the teeming waterways on canoe and motor boat cruises as well as a taste of Zulu culture on community visits.

Facilities

Phinda Forest Lodge offers its guests excellent facilities to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The main lodge sits in an ideal position to enjoy the great views - the central dining area, lounge and swimming pool overlook the wetland pan and offer a great place to spend an afternoon sitting back and relaxing as you watch wildlife come and go.

The lodge also has a well-equipped gym for those who want to knock off a workout or two. A business centre is also available at Phinda Forest Lodge.

Dining

Phinda Forest Lodge will treat you to spicy Pan-African cuisine which can be taken on the deck overlooking the grasslands or around the fire in the boma.

The Lodge's renowned bush banquets include breakfast and dinner and are enjoyed in a beautiful forest clearing.

Standard Suite

Phinda Forest Lodge has 16 air-conditioned glass chalets, raised on stilts and set amongst forest trees. The luxurious chalets' classic Japanese minimalist architecture enhances the tranquillity of the forest setting, and the overall effect is absolute privacy.

Each spacious chalet comprises a bedroom, lounge and en suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Suites also offer a wooden deck from which to enjoy Phinda's spectacular views.
