The public area of Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa boasts five free-form swimming pools to relax in and sunbathe next to, or if you're feeling active you could take part in an organised group activity such as water-polo or volleyball.

Dining

There are various dining opportunities at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa. If you are looking for a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner then The Pavilion is the place.

For a light snack and pizza with a choice of fresh toppings, try Minazi Trattoria and Pizzeria. Lido Fish on the Beach is a poolside restaurant looking out over the Indian Ocean and serving delicious barbecued lobster, prawns and other seafood.

At Pampa Churrascaria, meat is prepared on spits above a wood fire. Expect beef, pork, chicken and lamb as well as several game dishes such as ostrich and crocodile. Fresh salads, vegetables, cold cuts and traditional fejioada and rice accompany your meal.

Head to Cocos Beach Bar after dinner for creative cocktails, an open-air disco and live music.

A Standard room provides both comfort and luxury and comes complete with air-conditioning, en suite bath and separate shower, satellite TV and mosquito nets. A balcony with pool or sea views completes the amenities.

Other Room Types

The Palm Rooms are situated with their balconies overlooking the Palms pool, colourful bougainvilleas and frangipani trees.

The Seafront Rooms have breathtaking views of both the tropical Indian Ocean and the hotel's lush green gardens with swaying palms.

Sarova also offers private suites. Executive Suites feature spacious lounges and bedrooms and are available as bedroom suites with en suite bathrooms.

For the more discerning traveller, the two Presidential Suites are positioned in a serene location overlooking the Palms pool. Suites are impressive with two well-appointed master bedrooms with king and queen-sized beds, en suite bathrooms and a jacuzzi. The suite also features a large lounge attached to a kitchenette and fully-stocked bar. A personal butler is assigned to the suite to ensure your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.
