Ol Tukai Lodge is situated in a forest of fever and palm trees in Kenya’s vast Amboseli National Park. From your room you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape, looking onto the snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

During the day if you aren't busy on a game drive, you can relax in your chalet or take a dip in the pool and relax in the sun.

In addition to game drives, guided bird walks are also offered; Ol Tukai is home to over 150 bird species and is a must-do for any budding ornithologist.

The lounge area, decorated with intriguing artifacts and bold African prints is an ideal place to curl up with a book. Between the lounge and the dining room that extends onto the veranda is the Elephant Bar, an open-air bar serving a wide selection of beers, cocktails, liqueurs and fresh fruit juices.

The deck at roof level above the bar provides unhindered views of the wetlands and looks out onto Mount Kilimanjaro.

Recline next to the swimming pool during the hottest part of the day, while sipping on a drink from the Pool Bar.

The Dining Room at Ol Tukai Lodge opens onto a veranda, where lunch is normally served. Here you can enjoy your meal just metres away from the elephants that are often close to the camp boundary.

For snacks and drinks between meal times you can visit the Pool Bar, and relax in the shade of the acacia trees.

For an unforgettable experience, enjoy a meal out in the bush, be it a champagne breakfast, bush dinner or maybe a sundowner cocktail before you head out on a night game drive.

Standard Room

The 80 stylish chalet style rooms at Ol Tukai are constructed from gum trees, local river stone and slate, with African inspired décor and comfortable furnishings.

All rooms have double or single beds, chairs and coffee table, an en suite bathroom and a private terrace which withuninterrupted views of either the wetlands or Mount Kilimanjaro.

Two rooms have been designed according to EEC standards and are wheelchair accessible.

For the more discerning traveler or family and friends traveling together, the exclusive Kibo Villa is a three bedroom cabin made from wood and stone, including a lounge, kitchen and dining room. Each room is en suite and the master bedroom leads to a roof terrace with a private Jacuzzi and magnificent views of Amboseli and Mount Kilimanjaro.
