Parents and children alike can enjoy walking safaris and bird walks lead by experienced ornithologists while romantic sundowners in the bush end the day off perfectly. Overnight fly-camping excursions are available on request and offer a fun, adventurous break from civilisation.

The swimming pool is a meeting place for many of the guests, especially during lazy, hot afternoons. Relax in the water or on the shaded loungers around the pool.

For a bit of shopping, you can visit the boutique and perhaps stop at the coffee shop afterwards for a cup of coffee or a cool iced tea. The bar and lounge is a wonderful place to relax with a drink after an exciting day and to swap tales of the day’s adventures.

The Adventurers’ Club is created for the children and offers many interesting, bush related activities to keep the young ones entertained. The Young Rangers’ Club is for the slightly older teenagers. Samburu Intrepids also offers professional flex body therapy and has a sunbathing garden - an ideal place to unwind while the kids are being looked after.

"Being a fenced camp means it's fantastic for those who are a little nervous of being in the bush. A really good adventure club for children makes this an excellent family option in the Samburu. The nature walks are so worth it!"
