Traveller Reviews

  • We stayed at the Norfolk in Nairobi which is a beautiful, old hotel. Sunday we went to visit a church and school in Kibera which was a real eye opener for our western eyes. We had been put in contact with them through a student at the local university here who taught at the school this past summer. She had given us a "wish list" so we took them some supplies. Everyone we met was so warm and friendly.

"If only these walls could talk, what marvellous tales could be told - this pops to mind each time I visit the Norfolk. A drink on the Delamere Terrace is a must for any visitor."
