Traveller Reviews

  • The highlight of the accommodation for us was the incredibly well designed tents at Siana Springs Intrepids Camp. What a great name and it certainly lived up to expectations, and more. Being there with all the wildlife sounds around us in our bedroom was amazing and really made us feel part of it all.

  • Our accommodations at both camps, and even in Watamu were very nice and enjoyable.

  • The trip was wonderful. Most importantly our guide and driver, Kamal, was fantastic. His knowledge was amazing, not only about the animals and plants, but about the history. He greatly pleased the children and Bob and I. The Amboseli Serena and Siana Springs Intrepids Camps were perfect. All of our experiences in the parks were tremendous. Everything we saw and did made for a perfect safari.

    Patricia Daniels, August 2010
  • I think we were all glad to have Siana Springs as our first stop. It was not crowded, and we had fabulous attention from Anthony each day for dining. Our guide from Pollman's, Hodge Muguna, was a delight. The van was not as spacious as we would have liked, but part of that was due to our need for daily tote bags that were always in someone's way. Even though animals were scarce, we still managed upon some fair numbers from time to time. We were in the middle of a herd of 13 giraffes, and saw a line of migrating wildebeests and zebras during our hot air balloon flight, we saw several herds of about 30 elephants, and one pride of lions of 6 adults and 7 cubs.
