The Boathouse is an elegant and comfortable guesthouse perched right on the edge of a long sandy beach in Ballito on the KwaZulu Natal Dolphin Coast. The perfect setting for leisurely beach walks or an invigorating swim in the warm Indian Ocean, you can sit and watch bottlenose dolphins playing in the waves from the cool covered patios or the large wooden deck area.

Enjoy a comprehensive Continental or cooked English breakfast while looking out over the expansive view of Salmon Bay and then turn up the elegance for lunch and dinner in the à la carte restaurant which specialises in linefish and fresh seafood platters, complemented by a selection of South African wines.

You may want to order a cocktail or sundowner drink from the guesthouse bar before dinner.

The Boathouse has 22 individually decorated and air-conditioned rooms with plush bedspreads, crisp linen and beautifully co-ordinated fabrics. Satellite TV, a telephone and tea and coffee-making facilities are standard to all rooms.

Choose from Standard Suites, Luxury Suites, the Penthouse or the Deck Suite. Most rooms at the Boathouse have sea views and the majority have private balconies.
