overview

The Zambezi Sun Hotel is located in a prime position on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River and guests shouldn't be surprised to find the occasional zebra or impala wandering through the hotel's well maintained grounds. A resort-style complex, The Zambezi Sun is fun and welcoming, making it suitable for families, singles and couples. The restaurant and bar are positioned around the large, central pool area while the communal areas are bright, bold and spacious.

Victoria Falls itself is just a short walk away (all guests are offered complimentary access to the Falls) and it's simple to engage in any of the many activities offered in the area. For the adventure of a lifetime, you could go bungee jumping or whitewater rafting but for a more relaxing time, not much can beat a sunset boat cruise down the Zambezi. The hotel's in-house babysitting service and Camp Kwena Kids Club will give you the chance to unwind or explore by yourself while your children are being looked after or entertained.

  • Stay at Zambezi Sun was fantastic. Amazing hotel. Also rates which you gave me included park fees. You should mention this. Good selling point. Got 2 interconnecting rooms which was fabulous. Beds were very big.

    Kavita Choudary, September 2012
  • The hotel, Zambezi Sun, was really nice.

    S Singh Sadhar, August 2012
  • Stay at Zambezi Sun at Livingstone was also very comfortable and it was a beautiful to see thundering Victoria falls at this time of the year at its peak flow. We booked a sunset safari at Zambezi river which was so amazing.

    Anamika Rastogi, August 2012
  • The Zambezi Sun is a good resort. The service was a little uneven at times and the beds were not the most comfortable admittedly, but the location can't be beat and most of the staff was very helpful and kind.

    Patrick Roper, August 2012
  • Zambezi Sun - very nice for a couple of days and the kids loved the big pool and getting drenched by the spray at Vic Falls. Sunsets over the Zambezi River sipping cocktails, a massage at the Royal Livingstone overlooking the Zambezi, Ziplining and a Microflight over the falls were very memorable.

    Peter Webb, July 2012
  • The Zambezi Sun worked out great too.

    Shelley Baker, April 2012
  • We spent the rest of the 3 nights dinners at the Zambezi Sun and it was great over there. The atmosphere seemed so much more relaxed and the staff there seemed genuinely pleasant and friendly.

    Judi Krumwiede, April 2012
  • Both hotels we stayed in were lovely, the staff and accomodation was excellent as was the food. There were no hiccups with transfers or logistics.

    Clare Morrell, March 2012
