Susuwe Island Lodge is a luxurious thatched lodge in north-eastern Namibia. The lodge offers cantilevered viewing decks set amidst leadwood and mangosteen trees, and only six individual suites with their own private elevated balconies and plunge pools overlooking the Kwando River. Honeymooners and nature lovers will enjoy the quiet seclusion of the lodge and the option to relax in both the private and communal spaces.
Unrestricted and exclusive access to the game-rich Bwabwata National Park means that opportunities for recreation are varied and plentiful. Head out on day and night game drives, fishing excursions, and birding adventures to see the plentiful game and rare bird species found here. Informative guided walks will allow you to view game from up close and provide you with an intimate experience of the wilderness. Another way to view wildlife is on a boat cruise on the Kwando River, preferably at sunset or sunrise.
