Dining

A member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and under the passionate direction of Executive Chef David Higgs, the Saxon offers several exceptional dining options. Chef Higgs’s Sunday brunch is legendary as is the nostalgic late afternoon High Tea.

The kitchen serves African fusion menus created with seasonal ingredients and international flavours. The Sommeliers take great pleasure in pairing the Chef’s delectable dishes with renowned wines from local and international estates.

For an outstanding dining experience, take your seat at the Chef’s table in the kitchen. Elegantly dressed with white linen, crystal and fine china, your private feast features a menu inspired by your tastes and preferences.

Egoli Suite

The nouveau African style flows through the 24, light and airy Egoli Suites. Finished in marble, light wood, geometric prints, and plush furnishings, every detail has been considered and the ideals of comfort raised to a new standard.

Open the gorgeous latticed shutters to fill the open plan living area with natural light and look out over lush indigenous gardens or the tranquil pool terrace. Upload your holiday snaps with the high-speed Wi-Fi, watch a film from the digital movie library, or sip something refreshing from the complimentary mini bar while perusing your daily newspaper.

The generous en suite bathroom boasts a gorgeous, over-sized bath, a separate shower, piles of fluffy white towels, and an opulent robe with comfy slippers. The world's finest linens cover the bed, complimented by your selection from the pillow menu.

Should you need anything (perhaps a little help to leave your heavenly suite!) a personal butler is discreetly in attendance 24-hours.
