Select a wine from the 2 000-bottle cellar to complement the country cuisine and English elegance, before relaxing in front of a log fire. Breakfast is served, weather permitting, on the sun-drenched patio and Walkersons is also happy to supply picnic baskets packed with goodies and a bottle of cold wine.

Each room has a view of the lake or valley from its private patio and affords comforts such as fireside armchairs, tea and coffee-making facilities, a mini-bar, safe, writing desk and satellite TV. Self-catering facilities are also available in some of the suites.

Traveller Reviews

  • The best hotel of the trip! It was quite magical. When we arrived in the property, guys were wearing kilts (quite funny to see that in South Africa), welcome was great. The dinner was the best we had of the entire trip and a brilliant outside breakfast. We left the place as late as we could.
