General Facilities

    Computer facilities
    Wi-fi available
    Laundry service

After returning from your morning game drive or hot-air balloon safari, you can look forward to a delicious hot and cold breakfast spread on the banks of the Mara River, naturally accompanied by freshly-brewed Kenyan coffee.

Lunches are also served on the river banks and include delicious salads, meat dishes, and a variety of desserts. In the evening, you can either dine in the open dining tent by candlelight, or enjoy an alfresco meal outside.

If you feel like enjoying a particularly romantic evening, you can request for a bush dinner to be set up in one of the scenic spots around camp. Here you can tuck into the same delicious meals, but with a private waiter and without being disturbed by anything except the sounds of the wilderness around you.

Traveller Reviews

  • Governors' Il Moran was in a different league! Great camp - wonderfully situated, food & tents. The hot air balloon trip was great plus amazing breakfast. Thousands of wildebeest but no crossing.

    Ken Williams, September 2012
  • As far as Kenya and the Governors camp, again it was a great experience with quality accommodations and service. The only disappointment was the late arrival of the migration of which you have no control. I probably should have planned a two-day stay in Tanzania to cover it all. Most, if not all the people we met at Il Moran had been or were going to other camps, and I think that is a very good plan to see different wildlife.

    Susan Yokoi, July 2012
  • The accommodation at the lodges was without any exception excellent. Lodge management and staff were just very nice everywhere. The food was the best in the Moran Camp.
