Traveller Reviews

  • The only place we did not like was the D'Oreale Grande in Emperors Palace - it was too loud and jaring for us - but as that was just for a night - it was fine.

    Beena Ahmed, July 2016
  • D'Oreale Grande was super too.

    Pam Humphreys, September 2015
  • We can see why you put us in Emperor's Palace (I figure convenience and security) Not sure where else would have worked for such a tight timeline.

    John Cote, September 2014
  • The hotel d'Oreale was perfect for our flight home. We enjoyed the casino and shopping mall across the street.

    Pamela Mehra, January 2014
  • The D'Oreal Hotel was very nice and very convenient to the airport.

    Neil Williams, September 2013
  • The D'Oreale was a great way to close the trip. They gave us a late check-out. All of these hotels were very clean, comfortable, and gave excellent service.

    Molly Quackenbush, June 2013
  • D'oreal was ok, probably we would take the Intercontinental next time, which saves time to get to and wait for the shuttlebus. All of us were too tired to make use of the casino at the d'oreal, dinner the last evening in the restaurant was served very efficiently.

    Gerben Kuijper, May 2013
  • Our stay in Joburg (D'Oreale Grande) was very relaxing : a very good point for the hotel (well located, practical and high level services) and also the tours (safe and friendly)

    Marcelle Delannes, September 2012
  • The D'Oreale Grande reminded us of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. We had our first game meal (ostrich, warthog, kudu) for dinner and it was delicious.

    Judy Willis, June 2012
  • Last but not least, the last night stay at the D'Oreale Grande at Emperor's Palace was definitely worth the trip! What an elegant hotel! The casino was grand and when dinner came, we couldn't decide what to eat because of the amazing selection of restaurants all in one place! We went to Nelson Mandela House and visited the town and some museums. It was a very educative trip and some stories were very moving!
