Traveller Reviews

  • A quick line to say our trip was fantastic from Chapunga to Chobe, all transfers, people and accommodation were great.

    Nick Carter, August 2012
  • Chapungu was absolutely elegant, and the game so close at hand was remarkable.

    Amy J. Markowitz, August 2012
  • Chapungu was fabulous - we saw so much of the Big 5 after just one drive; great accommodation, food and service (enjoyed the simplicity and understated comfortableness)

    Kerry Cutting, July 2012
  • The safari at Chapungu proved to show us everything, I mean everything! We saw so many animals - The Big 5 and way more. It was perfect!

    Lane Baima, July 2012
  • Chapungu - OUTSTANDING. We felt like royalty! The lodge is beautiful, the staff so obliging and helpful, and the surroundings stunning. The game drives - twice a day - were amazing. Really. Sitting in an OPEN jeep, tracking and seeing ALL THE BIG 5 plus lots and lots more - just awesome. Our ranger (Kilmon) and tracker (Aubrey) were so knowledgeable and fun, we learned tons and tons about all the wildlife. Natalie and her husband, the managers of the lodge, went out of their way to make sure the food was acceptable to us and completely delicious - and presented in a way that did not make us feel 'separate' from the other guests. They were really lovely. The last night we came back from our evening drive to find our bed covered in rose petals and a bottle of complimentary champagne and a lovely note wishing us all the best on our 20th anniversary - as well as a beautiful candlelit bath awaiting us outside on the porch. Just unforgettable. I cried! We didn't want to leave - and we certainly want to return one day.

    Leah Goldstein, June 2012

  • I am writing to you to say that the trip you organized for us was as close to perfect as it gets. The wildlife viewing in Chapunga and Arathusa was great. Staff were very courteous and the food was very good. All of our air and ground connections worked out fine.

    Finlay Campbell, March 2012
  • Our camp at Chapungu was especially welcoming!
