Dining

The Constantia Uitsig is home to three world-class restaurants - La Colombe, Constantia Uitsig Restaurant, and the River Cafe - all on the same estate. Each offers its own unique style of food and décor.

The River Café is a popular eating establishment in the Constantia Valley, and offers locals and visitors a variety of breakfast and lunch options.

Scrumptious dishes and freshly baked pastries are served indoors in the Tea or Red Rooms, or outside in the sunny courtyard.

Constantia Uitsig is also home to La Colombe which was voted as Restaurant of the Year for 2009 in the Prudential Eat Out Restaurant Awards. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurants serves savoury classics and modern French cuisine with touches of Asia, that are made with the freshest of ingredients.

Set in the original Cape Dutch Homestead, the Constantia Uitsig Restaurant is an internationally renowned restaurant known for its style, relaxed atmosphere, and its menu of Mediterranean Provencal Cuisine. The restaurant, which is open daily for lunch and dinner, has repeatedly been recognised as one of South Africa's top restaurants.

Standard Room

Constantia Uitsig has 16 garden cottages, offering stunning views of the gardens and Table Mountain in the background. There are five types of suites available: six Garden Rooms, five Victorian Rooms, two Manor Suites, two Family Rooms, and one Superior Suite.

Each room is tastefully decorated in a 'Sanderson' style. Florals, ginghams and prints are all blended together to give a genuine country feel to the rooms. The cottages have air conditioning, under-floor heating, a private patio, and an en suite bathroom with marble finishes.
