Lake Nakuru Lodge is beautiful with a very nice swimming pool, however the rooms are better in the other 2 lodges

  • We stayed at Lake Nakuru Lodge which was a charming place, if a bit like a hotel. Great food, great staff. Great surroundings. Baboons visited the backyard of our room, watching us as we watched them. We did a later afternoon game drive where our driver pointed out the differences between the giraffes here and those in the Mara. We watched more rhinos and, just as the drive was about to end, just as dusk was about to surrender to complete darkness, our driver got one of those frantic calls. And off we went. And there, quite far from the road, but remarkably visible, sat a leopard, seemingly aware of its own elusiveness. Beautiful. Absolutely stunning.

  • We have very nice memories from our trip and many fun anecdotes. Lake Nakuru for the rhinos. It was a dream come true.

  • Lake Nakuru lodge also exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and the service was great. Our rooms were always readily available and conveniently located. Lake Nakuru has lovely gardens and animals were close by. Both lodges had nightly entertainment. The meals were very good at both lodges - all buffet style with lots of options - a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables (we had 1 vegetarian in the group), often a pasta or omelet chef. Deserts are less successful but that was a good thing. No matter what time we arrived, there was always plenty of selection.

    Deborah Mur, March 2010
  • Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara were beyond description. Our experience at each place was fantastic. Every place we stayed was over-the-top in service and quality.

    Anna Benifield, September 2009
  • From the Pollmans tours the best lodges was Lake Nakuru, view from our hotel was incredible and in a short time you can see a lot of different animals in action.

    Michel Daenen, March 2008

"Affordable lodge that provides a bird-eye view of the lake. Highlights for me are the game-viewing in the area for rhino, pelican and flamingos."
