The Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort is set on the side of the Eburru Escarpment, overlooking the waters of Lake Naivasha. The resort's location makes it a great stopover on a safari to the Masai Mara or en route to the sights of western Kenya.

Enjoy a round of championship golf on the lodge's own 18-hole course, which offers views of the volcanic crater of Mount Longonot as well as the Aberdare Mountains, mastering one of the longest holes in Kenya at the 17th. Visit the Hell's Gate National Park or take a nature walk in the Eburu Forest, while boating excursions on Lake Navaisha offer incredible bird watching opportunities. The lodge also has a specialised kid's club that offers many fun and educational outdoor activities.

The kid's club at The Great Rift Valley Lodge offers great wildlife and cultural activities that are both educational and entertaining. The lodge also has a swimming pool where both children and adults can cool off.

You'll find two bars as well as a lounge at the lodge, offering a choice of places in which to relax and unwind after a day of enjoying the outdoors.

Dining

Meals are hearty, welcoming occasions and you can choose to dine at either of the two restaurants at Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Enjoy buffet-style breakfasts, lunches and dinners, or sit down to homemade table d'hôte cuisine and alfresco continental lunches on the beautiful grounds.

Standard Room

Rooms at the lodge are spacious and comfortable, and create a relaxed, country-living atmosphere. Choose between private lodge rooms or family-friendly villas, all of which have balconies that overlook the Aberdare Mountains and the Great Rift Valley.

The Lodge Rooms can be made up with either a 4-poster, king-sized bed or two twins, and each has a relaxing lounge area and fireplace as well as an en suite bathroom. Some rooms have inter-leading doors and can be converted into spacious family rooms.

Other Room Types

The Longonot Villas offer home-style accommodation and are ideal for families or large groups of friends who would enjoy catering for some of their own meals. The ground floor room features two twin beds, and opens out onto the beautifully landscaped gardens. The second floor features a living room, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering, while the top floor houses the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and private balcony. All rooms have modern en suite bathrooms.
