Sossusvlei Lodge is a luxury oasis situated adjacent to the entrance to Namibia's Namib-Naukluft Park. The lodge's location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the largest conservation area in the world. Offering a comfortable retreat in these rugged surroundings, the lodge is designed to blend with the natural surroundings.

The lodge's Adventure Centre offers a wide range of exciting activities, including guided trips to Sossusvlei, nature drives, scenic flights and even hot-air balloon trips. Explore the area on a guided nature walk, or on an eco-friendly quad bike adventure. Alternatively, relax at the camp and enjoy a drink at the bar, or kick back with a good book in the lounge area

Cool off after your day's adventures in the sparkling freshwater swimming pool or unwind on a sun bed while sipping a cocktail.

Enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar or head to the Acacia Beer Garden where you can relax under an ancient camel thorn tree. Guests can relax in the comfortable lounge that offers a variety of reading materials.

Relax in the lounge with a good book, or visit the curio shop where you can buy a variety of gifts and souvenirs.

Dining

The buffet at Sossusvlei Lodge is served outside on the terrace under the stars with a great view of the floodlit waterhole, a mere 50m away. From breakfast, lunch and dinner, to afternoon tea, each occasion offers delectable dishes and mouth-watering delights.

Standard Room

The separate, eco-friendly accommodation units at Sossusvlei Lodge have been designed to blend in with the surroundings.

Each of the 45 units is air-conditioned and has a bedroom under canvas, with adobe-style plaster walls. In addition, the units have a sitting area, as well as an en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and wash basin.

Other Room Types

There are three family units which have inter-leading doors between the bathrooms connecting the two units.

In addition, there are three wheelchair-friendly units which provide easy access and manoeuvrability. Handles are fitted in the bathroom, while the shower has an open design for easier access.

Depending on availability, one infant and/or child under 12 years can be accommodated free of charge in a room shared with two full-paying adults.
