Cape Town – the Kensington Place was undoubtedly undersold, it is a magnificent location and upon arrival we were met with smiles and welcomes from everyone, Austin, the manager had arranged dinner reservations for each night because as he quite rightly said many tourists don’t know that you need to book in Cape Town to get in – the suggestions were wonderful and again they couldn’t do enough for us…. Of course it was also doubly wonderful to take delivery of the champers and Melissa’s treat box which you had sneakily arranged (which went down a treat for the afternoon snacks!) thank you! Upon your recommendation we tried the eggs benedict, OH MY sweet lordy, they were amazing, I could hop on a plane just for that… the secret is apparently to make the béarnaise sauce fresh for each order!

Kensington Place - Another gem during our trip!!! We had a great room with awesome views! So glad you set us up at this hotel, it was perfect for our stay in Cape Town. Loved the boutique hotel feel where you get extra attention.

We had the pleasure of a warm welcome and our gorgeous room at the Kensington Place. I'm not kidding when i say we didn't want to leave. One of the greatest treats was discovering the beautiful book on Africa, a Bird's Eye View was left there for us by you. That was a terrific surprise, we both loved it but as Lynn is a pilot he particularly appreciated seeing Africa from the sky. All the restaurant and tourist suggestions we received from the people at the hotel were spot on. We also thought the food at the Kensington was exceptional and nothing was ever too much trouble. What a lovely introduction that was to South Africa. We had been so pampered at the Kensington Place that the service at La Petit Dolphin didn't quite live up to the high standard set there. I remember that you didn't have anything to do with that particular booking so i only mention it FYI.

We loved our time in South Africa. Kensington Place was a great place to stay. It was accessible to everything and Sascha went above and beyond to help us organize tours and make dinner reservations. In fact, our dinner at The Test Kitchen was the best meal we had on our trip and one of the best meals we've ever had.

We were so happy we stayed here. The breakfasts were unreal, and they were so accommodating with everything. On our last day we were in a rush and they asked if we wanted coffee to go, and they brought up an entire tray with biscotti and coffee and everything because they knew we hadn't had breakfast. Really a beautiful wonderful place.

We loved the Kensington Place. It was just right. Small and modern and great attention. They treated us very well, greeted us with coffee and champagne and gave us a room upgrade. Definitely no complaints there.

The trip was absolutely wonderful! The properties of Kensington Place, Baines Camp, Chobe Chilwero and Londolozi Tree Camp were absolutely 100% fantastic. We loved our accomodations and would highly recommend these camps / lodges / hotels to others. I can't say enough positive things about the rooms and the staff.

Once again our transfer to Cape Town from Botswana were remarkably smooth. The location of Kensington Place was good and we had some nice views of the downtown area and Table Mountain from our room. The staff was excellent in answering questions and handling our last minute requests for car hires. The hotel arranged reservations for dinner each night of our stay. The included breakfast was excellent - very fresh and very filling.
