Set in landscaped gardens, elevated high above Murchison Falls on the north side of the River Nile is the Paraa Safari Lodge.

At these Falls the 40m-wide River Nile, on its journey from Lake Victoria's source to join Lake Albert, is suddenly compressed into a gorge only 6m wide and cascades into a boiling pot 43m below.

Activities that can be enjoyed during a stay at Paraa Safari Lodge include game drives, and a launch cruise to the base of the falls as well as to the Nile delta at Lake Albert. These activities are good opportunities for sightings of hippo, crocodile, plains game and a wide variety of birdlife.

The large free-form swimming pool overlooks the Nile River and the in-pool bar offers a refreshing spot to have a drink.

Dining

Delicious meals are served buffet style in the large dining room that extends onto the open veranda.
Barbecues and traditional dancers are a special treat on Saturday nights.

Set in landscaped gardens on the edge of the river, Paraa Safari Lodge offers accommodation in 56 rooms, 2 suites and the Queen's Cottage. Each en-suite room offers magnificent river views from their private balconies.

The spacious suites are air-conditioned and include a comfortable sitting area and large picture windows to frame the fabulous river views.

The Queen’s Cottages are stand-alone cabins with a large master bedroom and a twin-bed room. Each air-conditioned cottage features a large living and dining room that lead onto the large balcony overlooking the gardens and the Nile River.
