Kaya Mawa Lodge is at the head of a crescent-shaped bay on Likoma Island, surrounded by mango trees and ancient baobabs. This remote island is home to a very small community, surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of Lake Malawi. The location is perfect for a holiday of total relaxation, and its remote location makes it ideal for romantics. Spend your days swimming at the beach or in the swimming pool.
You can also choose from a range of outdoor activities, including snorkelling, scuba diving, and sailing at the full water sports centre, or head out on a mountain bike on one of the local trails. Day trips into Mozambique and visits to local communities can be arranged, giving you the opportunity to experience African culture and the various community projects Kaya Mawa supports. Guided village and cathedral tours are also available.
