  • The Islands of Siankaba was very relaxing with the Zambezi River flowing right outside your balcony. Wonderful food and beverages and tours of the Victoria Falls.

  • Islands of Siankaba was absolutely wonderful. We have only just arrived home and will write more later. In the meantime I can only say that this has been a life changing experience for me.

  • This is a gem, a unique and magical experience. I absolutely loved the boat transfer - what a fabulous way to start your stay. The location is incredible!!! right on the zambezi with total privacy = the previous evening we were on a ferry from the zim side and we were almost jostling for sunset position with the many other ferries huddled together! The walkways give a truly robinson crusoe feel and they're such fun to negotiate! thank goodness I kept my drinks to a minimum ;-) the chalets are stunning - on stilts and with such generous decks. Another highlight was the Mokoro trip Humphrey took us on - being so close to the water, and with no motor your ear picks up the slightest of bird calls. We saw pigmy and Giant kingfisher, a hippo pod, a croc and many waterberry trees (which is what our chalet has been named after)

  • It was great with relatively little to do, once one had done Livingstone. In many respects that was the attraction, chilling out I mean.

"On arrival you're transferred by boat to the lodge, where all the rooms are on stilts with the mighty Zambezi River flowing below. A stay at this lodge will really bring the vastness of the Zambezi to life!"
