Dining

Jan Harmsgat offers an excellent dining experience. The restaurant has won various awards and is most famous for its baked goods and preserves.

Choose to dine in the formal dining room, on the terrace, or enjoy a picnic under the pecan trees.

Expect top-notch service and excellent wine. Breakfast includes a fresh fruit parfait with homemade muesli and yoghurt, followed by a cooked breakfast with fresh juice and fresh coffee or tea.

The delicious lunch and dinner menu changes often, and makes use of produce grown in the garden.

Dinner features delights such as rack of lamb, seared tuna, aged beef fillet, or the popular kudu fillet, while pasta dishes are made from scratch. Be sure not to miss out on their famous pecan pie, made from organically grown pecans and topped with their homemade ice cream.

Standard Room

There are 4 comfortable rooms in the farm's original slave quarters, featuring en suite bedrooms and an adjoining lounge. The 2 loft bedrooms, perfect for honeymoons or romantic getaways, also feature spectacular mountain views.
