Cool off during the heat of the day by the swimming pool as you gaze out over Zululand and the private nature reserve.

Guided game drives and nature walks are offered in the reserve, and the bird watching in the area is great.

Grab a good book from the lodge's library and retreat to the lounge for a relaxing evening before dinner, after which you might want to order a nightcap from the bar as you listen to the crackle of a log fire in the fireplace on a cool night.

Traveller Reviews

  • Our reason for staying here was to do the battlefields. Our guide for this, Mike Nel, was absolutely fantastic and made our day one that we will never forget. I had thought I would be bored, I only wish I had spent two days there not one.
