Four Rosmead was very nice and they were quite accommodating. We particularly enjoyed Sonia. They even helped us by "shipping" some of Janelle's (ok mine too) gifts and excess luggage home.

Four Rosmead - just gorgeous and can't think how I would improve upon that.

We stayed at the most wonderful accommodation in both Cape Town (Four Rosmead Guest House) and Victoria Falls (The Victoria Falls Hotel). Both were full of character, charm and luxurious comfort complete with the most welcoming staff you could wish for.... nothing was ever too much trouble

The Four Rosmead was delightful. As you may recall, it was not my first choice hotel but rather was selected because the other hotel was closed for vacation. I am SO happy we made the switch. Jade, Nadine, Simone, Tonga & Patrick could not have been more welcoming. Two weeks earlier, I had sent an email asking if they could arrange a light dinner for us upon our arrival. Nadine's reply was so quick, I thought it was an automated response. Our dinner, sandwiches from a nearby restaurant, Licorice and Lime, were delicious. Our room which was lovely and faced Lion's Head, was spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. The next day, which was now our free day because of the schedule change, Jade suggested we take the Hop On/Hop Off Red bus for a great tour of the City. It was fantastic! When you get on the bus they give you a headset so the entire trip is narrated. The bus ran quite regularly and we could get on and off as we pleased. We visited Table Mountain, the beach, and the waterfront. Ending our day with cocktails overlooking the City harbor and dinner in a Greek Seafood restaurant. Jade had also supplied us with the phone number for a local taxi service for our return trip in the evening. Breakfasts at the Four Rosmead are an event in themselves. There was always fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, baked goods & pastries, jams & preserves and then, of course, the menu of hot items to choose from - YUM!

Yes, the trip will be a memorable one! All the plans you created went flawlessly and the accommodations and staff were wonderful.

After Kruger we spent 2 days in Cape Town, staying in Four Rosmead. The accommodation and location was great. We spent one day viewing Table Mountain and walking along the quay. The ferry to the island was not running due to fog. The next day we got a guided tour that drove us around the peninsula to Cape Point, the penguins, Seal Island, and other fantastic sites.

Cape Town - Beautiful! We could not believe how it felt similar to Vancouver! Four Rosmead was definitely a highlight of all accommodations. It was beautiful and immaculate, breakfast outstanding and the staff could not be more helpful and knowledgeable. This was a 5+++ star.

Cape Town Rosemead - well... what can I say. Nadine, who is one of the managers running the guest house was so informative, helpful and like an in-house guide. Our room was great but the suite was just wonderful.... I wish we had the suite for all 4 nights - I was so jealous of people moving in when we were checking out.

We also very much enjoyed experiencing Cape Town from the hop on hop off bus tour, to the harbour, to the restaurants and the food. Four Rosemead was wonderful and a very nice selection!
