Set in the stunning Franschhoek valley, Le Franschhoek Hotel showcases refined quality and commitment to luxurious detail with its well-appointed rooms and upmarket facilities. This Alpine-style region, close to Cape Town, has become a favoured holiday and weekend destination owing to its beautiful natural environment and wide range of local activities.

Its location on the site of one of Franschhoek's original country retreats means that Le Franschhoek is well-placed to provide a beautiful base to explore the area's attractions. Traveller Reviews

  • One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. The buildings and grounds are so beautifully kept, and the backdrop of the gorgeous mountains and vineyards are unparalleled. It was so serene and lovely.

  • Wonderful experience!! Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best. The spa, restaurants and bar service was very good.

    Sissel Alfredsen, February 2008
  • As everything we had hoped for. They were incredibly helpful and even managed to wash and iron my son's shirt (he came straight from University in the UK!) in a few hours before we went to the wedding ... The only thing they could usefully do - a very minor point - would be to provide four decent rackets for use on the tennis court. There were only two rather old ones available.

    Nicola Stanley, February 2008
  • Beautiful place and lovely setting. We had two wonderful meals: 1) La Petit Ferme for wine tour/tasting followed by lunch and 2) Reuben's for dinner. I would highly recommend both.

    Lane Penry, January 2008
  • Le Franschhoek Hotel another fantastic place, service top class just cannot fault anything or anyone.

    Brenda Dear, January 2008
