Set amid the elegant vineyards of the Cape's oldest wine-producing region, the The Last Word Constantia lies at the heart of Cape Town's most famous and most beautiful suburb - Constantia. Great care has been taken to ensure the privacy and security of the hotel's guests: the swimming pool and surrounding lounge deck, for example, have been carefully landscaped and sunk below ground level.

Activities close to The Last Word Constantia include sampling some of the delicious local wines or mountain biking through the forests and vineyards. The penguins of Boulders Beach and the excellent False Bay beaches are within easy driving distance as is Cape Town's city centre. Make sure you leave time to do some shopping at the V&A Waterfront and visit historic Robben Island.

Breakfasts are a speciality at The Last Word and are included in the rates, as are all beverages.

Dinners and lunches are available by prior arrangement - chefs can prepare a delicious dinner for you to enjoy at leisure - but an in-house chauffeur service is available to guests for restaurant transfers.

The Last Word Constantia lies close to many of the celebrated Cape Town and Constantia Winelands restaurants and is only a minute or two away from the chic Constantia Village Mall with its array of fashionable shops, cafés and restaurants.
