Paradise Sun Hotel is situated on Praslin, best known for the Vallée de Mai - a remarkably dense tropical forest reputed to be the original Garden of Eden.

Expect the hotel to be surrounded by lush gardens where you may enjoy a yoga session, fringed by powder-white beaches and azure waters where you may enjoy a complementary sunset cruise.

With year-round temperatures that seldom fall below 24 degrees, and some of the best beaches in this archipelago, one can enjoy popular pastimes which include lazing on a sun lounger on soft white beaches, or at the resort's swimming pool with a dedicated section for kids.

Make sure that you visit the equatorial forests of Praslin, famous for the unique Coco de Mer, a palm which not only boasts the largest seed in the world, but also the largest leaf. Island shopping, and a visit to the neighbouring island of La Digue are highly recommended.

The main building has 2 television lounges and the main restaurant, but the main attractions are the refreshing swimming pool, the never-ending stretch of beach and the free activities such as canoes, pedalos, wind surfing, table-tennis and the weekly catamaran cruises.

A typical day at Paradise Sun begins with a light continental or buffet breakfast, offering an excellent selection of fresh, tropical fruits, cereals, a variety of hot pastries and coffee.

Enjoy the French-style Creole cuisine which includes delicious fresh fish and shellfish buffets, salads, vegetables and lovely desserts at Le Beach Restaurant overlooking the magnificent Cote d'Or beach. Complimentary afternoon tea and coffee is also served in the restaurant.
