Set in 27 acres of tropical gardens, Maradiva is an exclusive villa resort and spa overlooking Tamarin Bay on the west coast of Mauritius. Each villa provides a totally private accommodation experience which includes 24-hour butler service, a private patio and infinity-edge plunge pool. Easy access to the beach and professionally-run children's activities make Maradiva an ideal family getaway though honeymooners are well catered for via the totally private nature of the villas.

Facilities

Facilities at Maradiva include a large infinity swimming pool, an award-winning holistic spa, two à la carte dining rooms and two bars, 24-hour butler-service, a kids club open all day and night plus a Fitness Centre and Boathouse - you won't want for much at this luxury resort.

The Peter Pan Kids Club is overseen by a team of qualified childminders who provide a range of fun and educational activities for children aged 3 to 12. Babysitting services are available for children under the age of three.

Dining

Maradiva Resort offers you the choice of two bars, two restaurants and private in-villa dining. At Breakers Bar you can enjoy a selection of beers, wines and spirits along with pre-dinner snacks and live entertainment while the Beach Bar serves cocktails, snacks and light lunches. Indulge in Mediterranean, Mauritian and international dishes at the laid-back Coast2Coast restaurant with its open terrace overlooking the lagoon. Try the exotic Cilantro restaurant which prepares a variety of Pan Asian dishes which will have you sampling the flavours of Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and India. Guests may also experience dining under a candlelit tent on the beach for an unforgettable romantic evening.

Luxury Suite Villa

Maradiva Resort's 57 Luxury Suite Villas are well spread out in the tropical gardens to afford you total privacy. They boast their own terraces, private infinity-edge plunge pools, a private bar and a sheltered dining and lounge area beneath a ceiling fan.

All suites are air-conditioned and have king-size beds, a flat-screen TV and 24-hour butler service. Bathrooms feature a over-sized bath and separate rain shower, a walk-in wardrobe, and just outside, a secluded open-air garden shower.

Eleven of the Luxury Suite Villas are right on the beachfront while others have interleading rooms, which makes them ideal for families.

Other Room Types

Maradiva Resort's six Exclusive Suite Villas offer the added comfort of fan-cooled sofa seating in the patio courtyard and a 6-seater dining table. They each have a private 25m infinity pool, direct access to the beach and huge views of the ocean. A butler offers service 24 hours a day, and families can take advantage of the interconnected Beach Front Suite Villa.

Guests can also take luxury to the next level by opting to stay in Maradiva Resort's two extravagant Presidental Suite Villas. Each very secluded and exceptionally appointed villa has two luxurious en suite bedrooms, a spacious living room and 56m heated infinity pool.
