Situated in area only recently made accessible to the public, Lugenda Wilderness Camp is in one of the most remote areas of northern Mozambique. This secluded wilderness camp is shaded miombo forest and offers an intimate and personalised stay on the banks of the Lugenda River.
Lugenda Wilderness is located in the greater Niassa National Reserve, a huge and untamed reserve approximately twice the size of the Kruger National Park. Enjoy both game drives and walks, accompanied by a qualified guide. Commonly sighted species include elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion and leopard. The area is also home to over 370 bird species including a number of raptors.
