overview

Situated in the malaria-free Shamwari Game Reserve, Bayethe Tented Lodge offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation in this award-winning private reserve. The region is a natural extension of the famous Garden Route and is home to five of South Africa's seven habitat biomes which makes for an extraordinarily diverse range of plants and animals, a list that includes the Big 5.

Head out on day and night game drives with your personal ranger and learn about the area's intricate ecosystems. In between game drives, simply sit back and relax in the lounge or on the viewing deck and watch animals at the nearby waterhole. Alternatively, book a rejuvenating beauty treatment or massage at the Bayethe Bush Spa.
