Traveller Reviews

  • Wolwedans was a little disappointing, to be honest. I think that is because the hype on the website and Tripadvisor was so over the top, and we had already been travelling for a week, so it didn't wow us as much as it could have. Having said that, we loved it and decided that it would have been better to have gone there first - it would have blown us away. And the people there were great. I think they thought we were a bit strange not wanting to do a game drive etc - we had already been to Anderssons and Etosha, had seen the amazing desert elephants in Damaraland, so we were happy to just chill out and gaze at the view (and catch up on emails - work never stops these days).

  • It was also a great experience and the personnel in both places were five star.

"The comfortable tents at Dune Camp are pitched on wooden platforms, and for the adventurous, sleeping outside under the stars is definitely safe! The public areas are intimate and cozy, with a very relaxed ambience. If you need to relax in a down-to-earth environment, then this is the camp for you!"
