Situated on the edge of a towering dune in the NamibRand Private Game Reserve, Wolwedans Dune Camp offers elegant comfort and tranquility in the heart of the Namib Desert. Close to the famous dunes of Sossusvlei and ideal for honeymooners and romantics, this intimate camp offers spacious and comfortable tents to bring you close to the beautiful surroundings without compromising on luxury.

The camp accommodates a maximum of 12 guests and promises a personalised stay. Set out on nature drives with expert guides to gain an insight into this unique environment or explore on foot with a walking safari, traversing ancient San Bushman hunting grounds and enjoying a classic safari experience. Return to this charming, romantic haven in the late afternoon to enjoy a drink on the sundowner deck before sitting down to a delicious, hearty meal by candlelight.

Dining

With fresh organic produce adding to the delicious cuisine, dining at Wolwedans Dune Camp is always a memorable occasion as well as an interactive one. The kitchen is open-plan, giving you the chance to chat to the chef as you watch him prepare your meal.

Start every morning with a hearty breakfast served outside on the deck as you watch the desert come to life. Return for lunch and again for dinner, this time served at an elegant table setting where you can enjoy a lavish yet unpretentious meal by candlelight.

Standard Tent

The luxury tents are raised on platforms and positioned to allow the best views of the pristine desert landscape while the generous decks outside each allow for exciting, safe sleep-outs under the stars.

The tents have roll-up canvas walls and inside each you'll find crisp white sheets, warm down duvets and an en suite bathroom with solar-heated hot showers.
