Elephant Pepper Camp is a traditional bush safari camp shaded by a natural forest of ebony and elephant pepper trees, overlooking the Mara plains. Set away from other lodges, the camp offers modern comforts, evenings by the campfire, and dinner under the stars.

The spectacular annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is by no means the only feature of this World Heritage Site. The Masai Mara is home to enormous herds of plains game, big cats, and elephant as well as colourful birds, small game, riverine wildlife and beautiful scenery. Daily extended game drives in open-sided vehicles, some night drives, and guided bush walks make up your game viewing experience.

Set out on game drives in open-sided vehicles, as well as night drives and guided bush walks, to see herds of plains game, big cats, elephants, and plentiful bird species.

Before dinner, enjoy a drink around the campfire where you can share stories of the day’s sightings.

Dining

Meals at Elephant Pepper Camp are prepared by chefs trained by the owners' family, and feature traditional North Italian recipes blended with international and local favourites.

The main dining mess tent offers family-style dining with a self-service bar. For something unique; enjoy bush breakfasts and sundowners, or a barbecue beside the campfire.

Standard Tent

Elephant Pepper Camp has 8 canvas tents with en suite dressing rooms, comfortable verandas, safari showers filled with hot water on request, and flush toilets. Each tent has a sweeping view of the Masai Mara plains and the wildlife that come past.

Four of the tents have been upgraded, one of which is a honeymoon/family suite.
