  • The Walden House - Loved it!! We all did - charming, nice rooms, good location and lovely hosts. Miller's Thumb - great restaurant 2 blocks from the guest house. Highly recommend it. Also ate at Five Flies was great, and City Grill at VnA Waterfront on our last night. Very lovely evening.

  • Cape Town - Walden House was wonderful. We had a great breakfast, and the location was top notch! We walked to Miller's Thumb for an awesome dinner one night, and got to spend a lot of time seeing Cape Point and the V & A Waterfront. We had a sunset cruise where we were the only two people on the boat and the captain gave us an amazing history lesson about Cape Town. We didn't get to go up Table Mountain due to the weather, but the view from the bottom is spectacular as well!

    Chris Casto, October 2010
  • Walden House in Cape Town was comfortable and in an excellent position to visit all the sites of Cape Town.

    Maxine Dilley, October 2010
  • Arrived back in Manchester yesterday and still not come down to earth after the most amazing holiday we have ever had. All places you recommended were superb and as you informed everyone we were celebrating 25 years of marriage there were all sorts of special surprises waiting for us. An upgraded room at Walden, a complimentary bottle of champagne at Ocean 11 and a private meal at Pondoro. Everyone made us so welcome and we wanted for nothing.

    Joe Tarkowski, August 2010
