Totally loved Emily Moon. We were also happy to stay 2 nights and have some time to unwind. Loved the lodge, the restaurant and the area.

Emily Moon is a beautiful clean place, excellent food - wish I had of ate there both nights and not just the one. The staff were fantastic - especially with Fiona's fear of spiders - They checked the room well for us. I would rate it at 10/10

Emily Moon was awesome. They have great people - friendly staff / owners. It is an excellent location and is very romantic. They serve great breakfast but dinner was not so good. The room was very nice and the attractions around were the best we have seen.

Emily Moon was wonderful. The staff, in particular Shirley & Simon, was exceptional. Our room was lovely and very quiet. However, a car is a MUST at this hotel. Fortunately, they have a great restaurant on site.

Emily Moon River Lodge was such a lovely place to end our stay!!! Thanks so much for that recommendation - completely relaxing and a calmness we needed after running around Cape Town trying to get all the tourist sights in.

Emily Moon in Plettenberg was by far our favourite stop. The family room was beautiful and the welcome we received from the staff was lovely. The tips Simon gave us on how to get the best out of our stay were very useful and his insider knowledge allowed us to watch a right whale 30m of the beach, unbelievable!!

Emily Moon River Lodge was also very nice. The owner actually sat down with us at breakfast and provided us with maps and information on must see places and things to do. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the river - it was a very beautiful and quiet setting. There was plenty to do and see within the area. And if you wanted to stay near the lodge you could take their bicycles for a ride or use one of their canoes to take on the river.

It's just we didn't realize that there was so much to do in Plett and we fell in love with Emily Moon River Lodge so another night there would have been handy. The setting was beautiful and, although we were no more than thirty yards from the other lodges, they are arranged in such a way that ensures complete privacy. The balcony and the view there-from, the outside shower and the open fire provided lots of novel entertainment value for us city-dwellers.

It was actually very good, despite the confusion over the room. The free dinner and sparkling wine made up for it. The lady in charge was brilliant with sending us to the best attractions and places to eat. We also loved her little dog!
