Traveller Reviews

  • Victoria Falls Hotel: Again of the highest standard for friendliness, comfort, range of restaurants and colonial feel (rather amusing in that country.) The Falls have to be seen to be believed even if it was low water, and we did the Falls walk, and sunset cruise on the Upper Zambesi. We used the 16 seater smaller boat from Raikane which had an aura of luxury and intimacy with a brilliant Captain which made us the envy of the larger boats We were the only ones to see the elephants swim the river as all other boats had departed. ( and we were closer to the hippos.)

  • The Victoria Falls Hotel was quite a beauty. We were especially impressed by the grounds. And we had a great dinner at Mama Africa.

  • Victoria Falls Hotel was a very impressive, historic building. The Victoria falls itself was beautiful and the hotel still keeps the atmosphere of colonial times.

  • One of the best parts of our trip (and also the best value for money) was definitely the Victoria Falls Hotel.

    Jean-Sebastien Bres, June 2015
  • Victoria Falls Hotel was picture perfect. We sipped wine on the porch while enjoying the mist over the falls.

  • My trip to Zimbabwe you helped me arrange was flawless. My room has a beautiful view of the bridge and a view of the mists which rise skyward from the Falls. As I write this, I sit on the veranda watching the sunrise through the mist of the falls with a nice blanket draped over my shoulders. The hotel is so nice and last night while I was face timing with Sarah and Suss, they came In turn down my bed and placed a chocolate on my pillow as well as draw the mosquito netting around the bed. Quite lovely.

  • Victoria Falls Hotel was wonderful-I liked the hints of a by-gone era and the old world style. The food was good. Service was excellent. Hotel was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Our room had a great view. From the Terrace you can see the mist from the Falls
