In one section of the mess tent, you'll find floor-cushions, rugs and sofas for relaxing after a day out in the wilderness.

The small library and bar area are also here, creating an inviting and comfortable space.

Naibor Spa tent is situated away from the other tents, creating a secluded and quiet ambience in which to enjoy a relaxing massage.

General Facilities

The large mess tent is fitted with a long banquet table where you can enjoy your dinners by candle light. Lunch and breakfast are usually served in the shade of the adjacent trees, overlooking a wide bend of the Talek River. Enjoy watching pods of hippo wading in the water while you dine.

Meals are prepared using the freshest, quality ingredients, and the experienced chefs will present you with delicious, hearty meals.

Before dinner in the evening, enjoy drinks around the campfire, sharing stories about the day's sightings. For a more romantic occasion, or to get even closer to the wilderness, you can enjoy your meals out in the bush, listening to the sounds of the wild and tucking into the same delicious cuisine.

Luxury Tent

The nine canvas tents are large and spacious and positioned among the trees to ensure maximum privacy. Here you can enjoy living close to the wild, but without compromising any luxury. Two of the tents are suitable for families.

Each tent is fitted with beds made from local fig-wood, as well as wide sofas with bolster cushions. The en suite bathroom features his-and-hers wash basins, a flush toilet and safari shower. Each tent opens out onto a private, shaded veranda on which you can enjoy views over the river.

Traveller Reviews

  • The Naibor camp was amazing. We saw all the wildlife. The accommodation and position of the camp was perfect and our Masaii guide Nelson was great.

  • There was good accommodation and food. The camp setting was idyllic, by the river with hippos which appeared each morning. Due to low numbers of guests we had a private guide and game drives, an excellent Masai guide. We saw a lot of cats (lions, leopard and cheetahs) as well as giraffes, elephants, warthogs, impalas, hyenas, bat-eared foxes and some beautiful birds. Bush breakfasts were lovely with great views. Overall the best game-viewing and nicest camp we've stayed in.
