La Digue Island Lodge is situated among beautiful tropical gardens near to the Anse Source d'Argent, voted numerous times as one of the best beaches in the world. Adjacent to the beautiful Anse Reunion, this exquisite island retreat offers a variety of accommodation options ranging from quaint A-frame chalets to luxury beach chalets.

When you’re not lying on the beach, hire a bicycle and explore the island's coastline. Alternatively, pay a visit to the dive centre which offers scuba diving, including a course for absolute beginners, and also has snorkelling equipment so you can explore the underwater world. Above the water La Digue offers free boat trips to neighbouring islands and sunset cruises.

Facilities

Visit the neighbouring islands and explore the waters surrounding La Digue on daily boat excursions. To explore the colourful world beneath the waves, visit the Azzurra Pro Dive Centre located near the lodge on the Anse Reunion, where you can take scuba diving and snorkelling trips. Scuba lessons are available for all levels of diver.

The lodge can also organise land excursions either on foot or by bicycle. Explore the Union Estate Park, the Old Cemetery, or the nearby villages. When you’re not out exploring this tropical paradise, relax beside the pool and soak up the sun. Swim up to the palm-leaf roofed Pool Bar, where you can be served a cocktail or long drink without even having to leave the water.

Dining

Enjoy Seychelles-themed dinners with traditional dancing, as you look out over the swimming pool. Creole cuisine is served in the spacious and airy Main Restaurant, with its sandy floor and high pointed thatched roof, while the Pool Restaurant serves snacks, pastries and light lunches.

Petit Village

La Digue Island Lodge has 60 rooms with a wide choice of accommodation types, ranging from standard rooms to chalets and suites. All rooms are air-conditioned.

The Petit Village is located off to the side in a secluded area of the lodge. Each unit has a private terrace and air conditioning. The rooms are spacious with a double bed, en suite bathroom, and satellite TV.

Other Room Types

The quaint A-frame chalets with thatched roofs can accommodate a family of up to four, and small children are sure to love sleeping under the sloping roof on the upper level. These chalets are spread throughout the lodge and have either views of the ocean or are situated in the garden retreat. They include air conditioning, satellite TV, double beds, and en suite bathrooms.

Nine small double-bed guest rooms make up the Yellow House, a famous colonial house which is now a national monument of the Seychelles. Each unit has a double room located upstairs, and a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower downstairs. In addition, the rooms offer air conditioning and satellite TV.

Offering a total of nine rooms, the Beach House has four rooms on the first floor and five on the ground floor. Each of the rooms has en suite facilities, double beds, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Four of the rooms have an additional bedroom, making them ideal for families.
