A peaceful beachfront hideway, Fumba Beach Lodge is the only accommodation on Zanzibar's Fumba Peninsula and offers both tranquility and exclusivity with a choice between three pristine beaches.

Set on 2kms of beachfront and within 40 acres of wilderness in the beautiful Menai Conservation area, Fumba Beach Lodge offers its guests the chance to go snorkelling and diving on brightly coloured reefs, look for bottlenose dolphins or take a ride on a wind-driven raft called a 'ngalawa'.

Facilities

Staff at Fumba will be happy to arrange sightseeing excursions to historic Stone Town and other must-see destinations in Zanzibar but there's plenty to do at the lodge itself including scuba diving and snorkelling.

There is a swimming pool and bar plus the lodge offers an internet facility and laundry service.

Return to Fumba after a day of exploring and book yourself in for relaxing treatments at the Baobab Massage Parlour beside the pool, in the jacuzzi or just sip on a delicious cocktail from the beach bar while you contemplate paradise.

Dining

The Restaurant and Lounge Bar provides a charming outdoor setting for local and international specialities such as freshly caught seafood combined with fresh produce and fragrant spices. The beach bar, Dhow FumBar, is the perfect place to kick back and relax with a delicious cocktail or ice-cold drink. This unique bar is made from an authentic Zanzibari dhow and is wrapped around a large baobab tree.

Garden View Room

Fumba Beach Lodge has 26 rooms located all around the extensive grounds, allowing for both space and privacy.

The airy, en suite Deluxe Rooms each have a lovely sea view from their private terrace while the Luxury Suites have the added advantage of being able to bathe with a view - either from the open-air shower or while sitting in a bath. The Luxury Suites also boasts their own private roof terrace.
